Mills Jewelers in Lockport and The Hampton Inn and Suites Buffalo Downtown have partnered with The Ice Ball to offer one lucky winner the unique opportunity to propose marriage on stage at Midnight during The Ice Ball on New Year's Eve.

To enter, submit a story (400 words or less) about your relationship and why you want the opportunity to propose on stage in front of 1000+ people at The Ice Ball. Be sure to include anything that makes your relationship or the proposal unique!
Entries will be judged on content, creativity, and originality. The contest closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 12, 2009. The winner will be notified by December 15, 2009 and will need to select a ring at Mills Jewelers in Lockport by December 21st. The logistics of the surprise on stage proposal will be worked out with the winner prior to New Year's Eve.
